Delete Your Account

We're sorry to see you go. If you'd like to delete your Jam Scsh account and associated data, please follow the steps below.

Delete Your Account in the App

Open the Jam Scsh app and go to Settings → Manage Account → Delete Account. Your account is deleted straight away.

Send an email to our support team with the subject line "Account Deletion Request":

Please include the email address associated with your Jam Scsh account so we can verify your identity and locate your account.

What Gets Deleted

When your account is deleted, the following data will be permanently removed:

Your profile information (name, bio, profile photo) and private account details
Videos, drafts and other content you uploaded
Your comments, posts and community content
Your likes, claps and other activity on other people's videos, posts and live streams
Your watch history and personalized recommendations
Your analytics profile, usage events and any session recordings (PostHog)
Live streams and their recordings
Direct messages
Followers and following lists
Your jAmps balance, including promotional jAmp credits (any unused balance is forfeited)
Artist club memberships and subscriptions
Notification history

What May Be Retained

Certain data may be retained for a limited period as required by law or for legitimate business purposes:

Transaction records (purchases, tips and payouts) for financial and tax compliance, up to 7 years, with your name, account ID and any tip messages you wrote removed
Referral-attribution and promotional-credit records, which are kept with transaction records (up to 7 years)
Records of reports, moderation decisions and safety actions
Data held by our service providers for a limited time, such as the record of videos you have seen, which expires after 180 days
Data necessary to comply with legal obligations or resolve disputes

Important: Account deletion is permanent and cannot be undone. All your content, connections and jAmps will be lost. Please make sure to save any content you want to keep before requesting deletion.

Processing Time

Deletion in the app happens immediately. Email requests are processed within 30 days, and we will reply to confirm once your account has been deleted.
